“I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Craig’s Marine Canvas for the beautiful job they did on my boat cover. Our dock receives a lot of sun and our boat paint would oxidize in less than a year after we had it detailed and waxed. We had a bow and cockpit cover, but need the sides and back protected. Craig came to my dock, took the measurements, and even sewed a zipper onto my existing cockpit cover that attaches to the new. He also uses the existing snaps that mate to the new side covers, so the measurements must be precise….fits like a glove as you can see. Sunbrella fabric is a perfect match to the existing. “I have had boat canvas done on multiple boats, including large cabin cruisers and smaller boats, for over 3 decades. When I moved to Lake Lanier, I had canvas work done by Craig on 2 boats. I since moved to Lake Sinclair and decided to have my new boat trailered to Craigs to have Craig and Chris do some custom canvas work, as I didn't want to be disappointed locally and it was worth the transport cost to have it done right. There are reasons: First, if you need any work done, such as replacing a factory item, it will be better than your original factory piece. If you need custom work they will do it right, first time. it's like they are working on their own boat. Craig will take your idea and tell you what will work and what will not, including suggestions to meet what you are looking to accomplish. Custom canvas can be expensive but particularly annoying when you find even minor errors in stitching etc. You will not find that at Craigs and their attention to detail is awesome (such as labels for port and starboard, so you don't have to figure it out). You will also however be surprised at how reasonable their pricing is straight up, first quote, especially if you have had the work quoted by canvas shops elsewhere. The guy who trailered my boat has been around boats for years and commented this was the most organized and clean shop he had seen. Chris and Craig are also genuinely nice people. if you need work and don't want to take a quality chance with your money, go to Craigs, if you also want to evaluate my review and the custom work on my boat ask Craig about the project and look at the pictures (please note, all the stainless and fittings match the quality ones that this particular boat has from the factory).”

“Some small businesses do skilled work. Some small businesses are run by warm, friendly and highly accomplished folks. Rarely do you find both in the same place. Craigs Marine Canvas is that rare example of a business that achieves both. I have asked them to build a full, down to the waterline cover for my Donzi Sweet 16 which is stored outside. As can be seen in the photograph, the red cover for the Donzi is beautiful. There is even a solar powered fan built in to keep the air under the cover flowing and cooler in the Summer. They even built matching red covers for the guide-on poles on the trailer. On another boat, I had a leaning post seat that kept popping open while under tow. Craig came up with a solution to that problem, a pair of simple straps that secured with snaps. My point is that Craigs Marine handled both the large job and the tiny job with equal enthusiasm and provided quality workmanship in both projects. I would recommend Craigs Marine Canvas to any of my friends and on the water buddies.”

“This is the second boat I've brought to Craig and Chris. I didn't want a full cover since it's under a covered dock, but I needed to keep the sun off the stern and keep most of the leaves and rain out. I also wanted to cover all of my vinyl, electronics, and controls, including my upper station. Craig helped me come up with a custom solution with multiple small covers that works great and is easy to handle. “When I purchased an Axis T23 Wake Surf Boat in 2015, one concern I had was the lack of sun protection from the "eyebrow" bimini top. Enter Craig's Marine Canvas. Craig and his wife, Chris, designed and built a custom bimini extension which has added hours of enjoyment and use of my boat over the last 5 years. The angled design allows me to leave the extension deployed while wake surfing/boarding. For you sun worshippers, the extension can be easily retracted and secured to the wakeboard tower in it's own custom cover. Craig and Chris also designed and built a custom boat cover for me and, after 5 seasons, both the cover and extension look new. Quality materials and workmanship!”

“Excellent job and great fit and finish! Craig had to start from scratch on my 50 ft aft cabin motor yacht, needless to say it was an undertaking but he got the job done quicker then he said he would and didn't ask for a penny more then the estimate. He did a new soft top, sides on the fly ridge and enclosed the lower level. Being an older boat none of the existing canvas and eisenglass was present so he had to create it and make it. It truly is an art to make enclosures and have them fit the way Criag did. Craig will be handling all my canvas needs for now on.”
